And he called the name of that place Bĕ

And Elohim said to Yaʽ
“Though you are a whore, Yisra’ĕ
And he set up one in Bĕ
And from there he moved to the mountain east of Bĕ
And he came upon a place and stopped over for the night, for the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.
‘I am the Ě
And he took about five thousand men and set them in ambush between Bĕ
And the border went over from there toward Luz, to the side of Luz, that is Bĕ
and each year he made the rounds of Bĕ
“And you shall pass on from there, and beyond, and shall come to the terebinth tree of Taḇ
And he built there an altar and called the place El Bĕ
and went out from Bĕ
And all the children of Yisra’ĕ
