And they were a bitterness of spirit to Yitsḥ
so that I make you swear by יהוה, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, that you do not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Kenaʽ

that the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
