And Aḇ
For men do indeed swear by the one greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.
If possible, on your part, be at peace with all men.
And one who had escaped came and informed Aḇ
“And now, swear to me by Elohim, not to be untrue to me, to my offspring, or to my descendants. Do to me according to the kindness that I have done to you and to the land in which you have dwelt.”
And he said, “Swear to me.” And he swore to him, and Yisra’ĕ
