From that land he went to Ashshur and built Ninewĕ
and Resen between Ninewĕ
And Sanḥ
they came to Zerubbaḇ
Ashshur also has joined with them, They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.
“Ḥ
“Ashshur is there, and all her assembly, with their graves all around her, all of them slain, fallen by the sword,
“Ashshur does not save us. We do not ride on horses, nor ever again do we say to the work of our hands, ‘Our mighty ones.’ For the fatherless finds compassion in You.”
“Arise, go to Ninewĕ
And they shall shepherd the land of Ashshur with the sword, and the land of Nimroḏ
The message concerning Ninewĕ
And Ninewĕ
“And it shall be that all who see you flee from you, and say, ‘Ninewĕ
And He shall stretch out His hand against the north, and destroy Ashshur, and make Ninewĕ
but Qayin is to be burned. Till when does Asshur keep you captive?”
And ships shall come from the coast of Kittim, and they shall afflict Asshur and afflict Ě
