Galatians 3:17

The Scriptures 1998

Now this I say, Torah, that came four hundred and thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously confirmed by Elohim in Messiah, so as to do away with the promise.

On the same day יהוה  made a covenant with Aḇ

And Elohim said, “No, Sarah your wife is truly bearing a son to you, and you shall call his name Yitsḥ

Would you also set aside My judgment? Would you pronounce Me wrong, and you be declared righteous?

The covenant He made with Aḇ

יהוה  brings the counsel of the nations to naught; He thwarts the plans of the peoples.

“For יהוה  of hosts has counselled, and who annuls it? And His hand that is stretched out, who turns it back?”

And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your vision with the grave not stand. When an overflowing scourge passes through, then you shall be trampled down by it.

“But if her husband forbids her on the day that he hears it, then he has nullified her vow which she vowed, and the rash utterance of her lips by which she bound herself, and יהוה  pardons her.

for the Torah was given through Mosheh – the favour and the truth came through יהושע  Messiah.

“And Elohim spoke in this way: that his seed would be sojourning in a foreign land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.

whom Elohim set forth as an atonement, through belief in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His tolerance Elohim had passed over the sins that had taken place before,

For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief nullify the trustworthiness of Elohim?

What I mean is this, that each one of you says, “I am of Sha’ul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Kĕ

For Messiah did not send me to immerse, but to bring the Good News, not with wisdom of words, that the stake of Messiah should not be nullified.

What then do I say? That an idol is of any value? Or that which is offered to idols is of any value?

And this I say, brothers, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

For as many promises as are of Elohim, in Him they are Yea, and in Him Amĕ

And this: He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and he who sows on blessing shall also reap on blessing.

Brothers, as a man I say it: a covenant, even though it is man’s, yet if it is confirmed, no one sets it aside, or adds to it.

Is the Torah then against the promises of Elohim? Let it not be! For if a law had been given that was able to make alive, truly righteousness would have been by Torah.

And I say: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not accomplish the lust of the flesh.

You who are declared right by Torah have severed yourselves from Messiah, you have fallen from favour.

that at that time you were without Messiah, excluded from the citizenship of Yisra’ĕ

So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,

And this I say, so that no one deceives you with enticing words.

In belief all these died, not having received the promises,but seeing them from a distance, welcomed and embraced them, and confessed that they were aliens and strangers on the earth.

For there is indeed a setting aside of the former command because of its weakness and unprofitableness,

foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sakes,
