“And the east side is from between Ḥ
And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of the Yardĕ
See, if a river rages, he is not alarmed; he feels safe, even if the Yardĕ
And they crushed and oppressed the children of Yisra’ĕ
And the children of Re’uḇ
And Laḇ
Then he took his brothers with him and pursued him for seven days’ journey, and he overtook him in the mountains of Gilʽ
So Lot chose for himself all the plain of the Yardĕ
And they sat down to eat a meal. And they lifted their eyes and looked and saw a company of Yishmaʽ
‘And you shall mark out your eastern border from Ḥ
“And I shall bring back Yisra’ĕ
“Ḥ
“And the Northerner I shall remove far from you, and drive him away into a dry and deserted land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his rear toward the western sea. And his stench shall come up and his smell rise, for he has done greatly.”
