“On that day I lifted My hand in an oath to them, to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, the splendour of all lands.

“So his opponent shall do as he pleases – with no one standing against him – and stand in the Splendid Land with destruction in his hand.

“And you shall know that I am יהוה, when I bring you into the land of Yisra’ĕ

“Also, I Myself lifted My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness, to scatter them among the gentiles and disperse them throughout the lands,

“And you shall say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “On the day when I chose Yisra’ĕ

in order to establish the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day.” ’ ” And I answered and said, “Amĕ

“When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance When He separated the sons of Aḏ

“And I shall bring them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they shall eat and be satisfied and be fat, then they shall turn to other mighty ones, and they shall serve them, and scorn Me and break My covenant.

and write on them all the Words of this Torah, when you have passed over, so that you go into the land which יהוה  your Elohim is giving you, ‘a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as יהוה  Elohim of your fathers has spoken to you.

‘Look from Your set-apart dwelling place, from the heavens, and bless Your people Yisra’ĕ

‘And He brought us to this place and has given us this land, “a land flowing with milk and honey.”

and to prolong your days in the land which יהוה  swore to give your fathers, to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

“And you shall hear, O Yisra’ĕ

“If יהוה  has delighted in us, then He shall bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which is flowing with milk and honey.’

And they reported to him, and said, “We went to the land where you sent us. And truly, it flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.

‘But I say to you, “You are going to possess their land, and I Myself give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am יהוה  your Elohim, who has separated you from the peoples.

“And it shall be, when יהוה  brings you into the land of the Kenaʽ

and I say: I am bringing you up out of the affliction of Mitsrayim to the land of the Kenaʽ

‘And I shall bring you into the land which I swore to give to Aḇ

‘For I lift My hand to the heavens, And shall say: As I live forever,

They then despised the pleasant land; They did not believe His word,

“And you shall inherit it, each one the same as his brother. For I lifted My hand in an oath to give it to your fathers, and this land shall fall to you as your inheritance.

‘I pray, let me pass over and see the good land beyond the Yardĕ

and saw the affliction of our fathers in Mitsrayim, and heard their cry by the Sea of Reeds,

“And You led them by day with a cloudy column, and by night with a column of fire, to give them light in the way they were to go.

Elohim shall go up with a shout, יהוה  with the sound of a ram’s horn.

“But I said, ‘How would I put you among the children and give you a pleasant land, a splendid inheritance of the hosts of nations?’ “And I said, ‘Call Me, “My Father,” and do not turn away from Me.’
