And all the people saw, and fell on their faces, and said, “יהוה, He is the Elohim! יהוה, He is the Elohim!”

He made known His ways to Mosheh, His acts to the children of Yisra’ĕ

Blessed is the nation whose Elohim is יהוה, The people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.

“Go, and you shall gather the elders of Yisra’ĕ

And He said, “I am the Elohim of your father, the Elohim of Aḇ

“And I have come down to deliver them from the hand of the Mitsrites, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Kenaʽ

And the people believed. And they heard that יהוה  had visited the children of Yisra’ĕ

And Elohim spoke to Mosheh and said to him, “I am יהוה.

‘And I shall bring you into the land which I swore to give to Aḇ

“You are My witnesses,” declares יהוה, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no Ě

“Have you not observed what these people have spoken, saying, ‘The two clans which יהוה  has chosen have been rejected by Him’? So they have despised My people, no more to be a nation before them.

“Again I passed by you and looked upon you and saw that your time was the time of love. And I spread My skirt over you and covered your nakedness. And I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” declares the Master יהוה.

“And I Myself also lifted My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, not to bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, the splendour of all lands,

“Also, I Myself lifted My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness, to scatter them among the gentiles and disperse them throughout the lands,

“And I, יהוה, shall be their Elohim, and My servant Dawiḏ

therefore, as I live,” declares the Master יהוה, “I shall do according to your displeasure and according to your envy which you showed in your hatred against them. And I shall make Myself known among them when I judge you.

“And you shall inherit it, each one the same as his brother. For I lifted My hand in an oath to give it to your fathers, and this land shall fall to you as your inheritance.

And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and he held up his right hand and his left hand to the heavens, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it would be for a time, times, and half a time. And when they have ended scattering the power of the set-apart people, then all these shall be completed.

“Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕ

“And if the Master had not shortened those days, no flesh would have been saved; but because of the chosen ones, whom He chose, He shortened the days.

for you are a set-apart people to יהוה  your Elohim, and יהוה  has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

‘For I lift My hand to the heavens, And shall say: As I live forever,

“Or has Elohim tried to go and take for Himself a nation from the midst of a nation by trials, and by signs, and by wonders, and by battle, and by a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and by great fearsome deeds, according to all that יהוה  your Elohim did for you in Mitsrayim before your eyes?

“And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their seed after them, and brought you out of Mitsrayim with His Presence, with His great power,

“For you are a set-apart people to יהוה  your Elohim. יהוה  your Elohim has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples on the face of the earth.

“יהוה  did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more numerous than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples,

And the messenger whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the heaven,

and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there shall be no further delay,
