So Mosheh took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Mitsrayim. And Mosheh took the rod of Elohim in his hand.
“And you, lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, and let the children of Yisra’ĕ
And Mosheh said to Yehoshua, “Choose for us men and go out, fight with Amalĕ
And he had said to Mosheh, “I, your father-in-law Yithro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons with her.”
And she bore him a son, and he called his name Gĕ
“And take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.”
And יהוה said to him, “What is that in your hand?” And he said, “A rod.”
Then Mosheh lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod. And much water came out, and the congregation and their livestock drank.
“And at this saying, Mosheh fled and became a sojourner in the land of Miḏ
