And it came to be, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. And Mosheh’s displeasure burned, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

But he said, “It is not the sound of those who shout of might, nor is it the sound of those who cry out in weakness, but the sound of singing that I hear.”

And יהוה  said to Mosheh, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I shall write on these tablets the Words that were on the first tablets which you broke.

not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares יהוה.

The joy of our heart has ceased, Our dancing has turned into mourning.

Then I cut in two my other staff, Unity, to break the brotherhood between Yehuḏ

And the man Mosheh was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.

“But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of Gehenna.

And when יהושע  saw it, He was much displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the reign of Elohim.

And having looked around on them with displeasure, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other.

And do not become idolaters as some of them, as it has been written, “The people sat down to eat and to drink, and stood up to play.”

“Be wroth, but do not sin.” Do not let the sun go down on your rage,

then I write on the tablets the Words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. And you shall put them in the ark.’

‘Cursed is he who does not establish the Words of this Torah.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amĕ
