You cleared a place for it, And caused it to take deep root, And it filled the land.

“And I shall send My Messenger before you, and I shall drive out the Kenaʽ

“Guard what I command you today. See, I am driving out from before you the Amorite and the Kenaʽ

“The Elohim of old is a refuge, and beneath are everlasting arms. And He drives out the enemy from before you and says, ‘Destroy!’

“And יהוה your Elohim also sends the hornet among them until those who are left, who hide themselves from you, are destroyed.
