that you shall pass over to יהוה  every one opening the womb, and every first-born that comes from your livestock, the males belong to יהוה.

“Everyone opening a womb of all flesh, which they bring to יהוה, whether man or beast, is yours. But the first-born of man you shall certainly ransom, and the first-born of the unclean beast you ransom.

‘However, a first-born of the beasts, which is first-born to יהוה, no man sets it apart – whether bull or sheep, it belongs to יהוה.

“Everyone opening the womb is Mine, and every male first-born among your livestock, whether bull or sheep.

“And the first of all the first-fruits of all, and every contribution of all, of all your contributions, belong to the priests. And the first of your ground meal you give to the priest, so that a blessing rests on your house.

“Set apart to Me all the first-born, the one opening the womb among the children of Yisra’ĕ

“Set apart to יהוה  your Elohim all the first-born males that come from your herd and your flock. Do no work with the first-born of your herd, nor shear the first-born of your flock.

“Do not delay giving your harvest and your vintage. Give Me the first-born of your sons.

“For all the first-born among the children of Yisra’ĕ

“Now look, I Myself have taken the Lĕ

as it has been written in the Torah of יהוה, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called set-apart to יהוה ” –

And יהוה  spoke to Mosheh, saying,

“And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you slaughtered as food to them. Were your whorings a small matter,

“Do not revile Elohim, nor curse a ruler of your people.

“But the first-born of a donkey you ransom with a lamb. And if you do not ransom, then you shall break his neck. Every first-born of your sons you shall ransom. And they shall not appear before Me empty-handed.

because all the first-born are Mine. On the day that I struck all the first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, I set apart to Myself all the first-born in Yisra’ĕ

also to bring the first-born of our sons and our livestock, as it is written in the Torah, and the firstlings of our herds and our flocks, to the House of our Elohim, to the priests attending in the House of our Elohim.

And that we should bring the first-fruits of our dough, and our contributions, and the fruit from all kinds of trees, of new wine and of oil, to the priests, to the storerooms of the House of our Elohim; and the tithes of our land to the Lĕ
