Exodus 12:1

And יהוה  spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon in the land of Mitsrayim, saying,

“And now, return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet, and let him pray for you and you live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall certainly die, you and all that are yours.”

And Mosheh and Aharon did all these wonders before Pharaoh, however, יהוה  hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not let the children of Yisra’ĕ

“Speak now in the hearing of the people, and let every man ask from his neighbour and every woman from her neighbour, objects of silver and objects of gold.”

‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you shall eat unleavened bread until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening.

“This month is the beginning of months for you, it is the first month of the year for you.

And יהוה  spoke to Mosheh, saying,

“On the first day of the first month, you are to raise up the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,

“In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you have the Passover, a festival of seven days, unleavened bread is eaten.

‘And in the first month, on the fourteenth day, is the Passover of יהוה,

“Now, let the children of Yisra’ĕ

“On the fourteenth day of this month, between the evenings, perform it at its appointed time. According to all its laws and right-rulings you perform it.”

So they performed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, between the evenings, in the Wilderness of Sinai. According to all that יהוה  commanded Mosheh, so the children of Yisra’ĕ

Now the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread was after two days. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to take Him through treachery and put Him to death.

And the Festival of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover.

So when he had seized him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to watch over him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover.
