For I say, through the favour which has been given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he should think, but to think soberly, as Elohim has given to each a measure of belief.

Have you found honey? Eat only as much as you need, Lest you be satisfied with it and vomit.

Let no one deprive you of the prize, one who takes delight in false humility and worship of messengers, taking his stand on what he has not seen, puffed up by his fleshly mind,

These indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed worship, humiliation and harsh treatment of the body – of no value at all, only for satisfaction of the flesh.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become foolish, so that he might become wise.

And besides these, my son, be warned – the making of many books has no end, and much study is a wearying of the flesh.

And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, and she took of its fruit and ate. And she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

‘I fast twice a week, I give tithes of all that I possess.’

Do not labour to be rich. Cease from your own understanding!

forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which Elohim created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

according to ardour, persecuting the assembly; according to righteousness that is in the law, having become blameless.

and again, “יהוה  knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are worthless.”

For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that hardening in part has come over Yisra’ĕ

Then the taught ones of Yoḥ

And He said to man, ‘See, the fear of יהוה, that is wisdom, and to turn from evil is understanding.’ ”

But a senseless man takes heart when a wild donkey’s colt is born a man!

“And they threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and mourning, and saying, ‘Woe! Woe, the great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she was laid waste.’

For I bear them witness that they have an ardour for Elohim, but not according to knowledge.

“See! Your house is left to you laid waste,

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous,

“And they do all their works to be seen by men, and they make their t’fillen wide and lengthen the tzitziyot of their garments,
