‘But let your wives and your little ones, and your livestock – I know that you have much livestock – stay in your cities which I have given you,

And a mixed multitude went up with them too, also flocks and herds, very much livestock.

Then they came near to him and said, “Let us build sheep-enclosures here for our livestock, and cities for our little ones,

“Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our livestock are going to be there in the cities of Gilʽ

“Let your wives, your little ones, and your livestock stay in the land which Mosheh gave you beyond the Yardĕ
