“When you lend your brother a loan, do not go into his house to get his pledge.
For you take pledges from your brother for naught, and strip the naked of their garments.
“If you take your neighbour’s garment as a pledge at all, you are to return it to him before the sun goes down.
“For that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What does he sleep in? And it shall be that when he cries to Me, I shall hear, for I show favour.
for you shall certainly open your hand to him and certainly lend him enough for his need, whatever he needs.
“Stand outside, and let the man to whom you lend bring the pledge out to you.
