“But יהוה  your Elohim refused to listen to Bilʽ

What then shall we say to this? If Elohim is for us, who is against us?

“He bowed down, he lay down like a lion. And, like a lion, who would rouse him? Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you.”

For this slight momentary pressure, is working for us a far more exceeding and everlasting weight of esteem.

Truly, as regards the Good News they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.

“My people, remember, please, what Balaq sovereign of Mo’aḇ

יהוה  appeared to me from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore I shall draw you with kindness.

“Again I passed by you and looked upon you and saw that your time was the time of love. And I spread My skirt over you and covered your nakedness. And I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” declares the Master יהוה.

As a bird wanders, as a swallow flies about, So a curse without cause does not come.

Elohim is truly good to Yisra’ĕ

Indeed, He loves the peoples, all His set-apart ones are in Your hand. And they, they sat down at Your feet, receiving Your Words.

as it has been written, “Yaʽ

And the Messenger of יהוה  said to Bilʽ

“I have loved you,” said יהוה. “But you asked, ‘In what way have You loved us?’ “Was not Ě

“And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their seed after them, and brought you out of Mitsrayim with His Presence, with His great power,

‘But I refused to listen to Bilʽ

“If so be, יהוה  does look on my affliction, and יהוה  shall return good to me for his cursing today.”

because they had not met the children of Yisra’ĕ

and he sent messengers to Bilʽ
