‘And you took up the tent of Moleḵ
Then Shelomoh built a high place for Kemosh the abomination of Mo’aḇ
In the ninth year of Hoshĕ
And the sovereign of Ashshur exiled Yisra’ĕ
And he made his son pass through the fire, and practised magic, and used divination, and consulted spiritists and mediums. He did much evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him.

“You brought Me slaughterings and meal offerings in the wilderness for forty years, O house of Yisra’ĕ
