worthless disputes of men of corrupt minds and deprived of the truth, who think that reverence is a means of gain – withdraw from such.

Moreover, they learn to be idle, going about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, speaking what is improper.

“Are you not the Mitsrite who some time ago stirred up a revolt and led the four thousand assassins out into the wilderness?”

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you go about the land and the sea to win one convert, and when he is won, you make him a son of Gehenna twofold more than yourselves.

For your hands have been defiled with blood, and your fingers with crookedness; your lips have spoken falsehood, your tongue mutters unrighteousness.

“And when they stumble, they shall be helped, a little help, but many shall join them, by flatteries.

For such are false emissaries, deceptive workers, masquerading as emissaries of Messiah.
