And the sovereign covered his face, and the sovereign cried out with a loud voice, “O my son Aḇ

A foolish son is a grief to his father, And bitterness to her who bore him.

Proverbs of Shelomoh: A wise son makes a father rejoice, But a foolish son is his mother’s sorrow.

As a father has compassion for his children, So יהוה has compassion for those who fear Him.

For I myself could have wished to be banished from Messiah for the sake of my brothers, my relatives according to the flesh,

“And now, if You would forgive their sin, but if not, please blot me out of Your book which You have written.”

And the matter was very evil in the eyes of Aḇ

And Yo’aḇ

And it was reported to Yo’aḇ
