And the sovereign and all the people who were with him became weary, and they refreshed themselves there.

And the sovereign said to Tsiḇ

But a youth saw them, and informed Aḇ

But her husband went with her to Baḥ

In the citadel of Shushan there was a certain man, a Yehuḏ

Because He has loosed my bowstring and afflicted me, they have thrown off restraint in my presence.

My enemies reproached me all day long, Those who rave against me have sworn against me.

Let them curse, but You bless. They shall arise, but be ashamed, And let Your servant rejoice.

For they persecute him whom You have smitten, And talk about the pain of those You have wounded.

“For that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What does he sleep in? And it shall be that when he cries to Me, I shall hear, for I show favour.

“Do not revile Elohim, nor curse a ruler of your people.

As a bird wanders, as a swallow flies about, So a curse without cause does not come.

Do not curse the sovereign, even in your thought; do not curse the rich, even in your bedroom; for a bird of the heavens conveys the voice, and a bird in flight makes the matter known.

And they shall pass through it hard pressed and hungry. And it shall be, when they are hungry, that they shall be wroth and curse their sovereign and their Elohim, looking upward.

And the Philistine said to Dawiḏ
