And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, as his father Menashsheh had done,

“Because Menashsheh sovereign of Yehuḏ

and walked in all the ways that his father had walked, and served the idols that his father had served, and bowed himself to them,

And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his fathers did.

And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his fathers did.

And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that Yehoyaqim did.

And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his father did.

“And see, you have risen in your father’s place, an increase of men, sinners, to add still more the burning displeasure of יהוה against Yisra’ĕ

and you fill up the measure of your fathers!

“You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Set-apart Spirit, as your fathers did, you also do.
