So they took hold of her, and she went by way of the horses’ entrance to the sovereign’s house, and was put to death there.

“Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood is shed, for in the image of Elohim has He made man.

And Yehoyaḏ

So they laid hands on her, and she went by way of the entrance of the Horse Gate into the sovereign’s house, and they put her to death there.

Beyond the Horse Gate the priests made repairs, each opposite his own house.

“And all the valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the wadi Qiḏ

‘And he who smites the life from any man shall certainly be put to death.

“For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged. And with the same measure you use, it shall be measured to you.

For the judgment is without compassion to the one who has shown no compassion. And compassion boasts over judgment.
