and brought out the pillars of the house of Baʽ
And they left their images there, and Dawiḏ
For they also built for themselves high places, and pillars, and Ashĕ
And he also removed Maʽ
and raised up an altar for Baʽ
And all the people of the land went to the house of Baʽ
He took away the high places and broke the pillars, and cut down the Ashĕ
and have put their mighty ones into the fire, for they were not mighty ones, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, and destroyed them.
And the altars that were on the roof of the upper room of Aḥ
Then the sovereign commanded Ḥ
And he brought out the Ashĕ
And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, but not like his father and mother; for he removed the statue of Baʽ
And they left their mighty ones there, so Dawiḏ
And he broke down the altars and the Ashĕ
Therefore by this the crookedness of Yaʽ
“But this is what you do to them: Break down their altars, and smash their pillars, and cut down their Ashĕ
