“But beware of men, for they shall deliver you up to sanhedrins and flog you in their congregations.
“But take heed to yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to councils and to congregations. You shall be beaten, and you shall be brought before rulers and sovereigns for My sake, for a witness to them.
“And that servant who knew his master’s desire, and did not prepare, nor did according to his desire, shall be beaten with many stripes.
