And I, Sha’ul, myself appeal to you, through the meekness and gentleness of Messiah – I who am indeed lowly when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent!

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Tsiyon! Shout, O daughter of Yerushalayim! See, your Sovereign is coming to you, He is righteous and endowed with deliverance, humble and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your beings.

“Say to the daughter of Tsiyon, ‘See, your Sovereign is coming to you, meek, and sitting on a donkey, even a colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”

And the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, “He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and like a lamb silent before its shearer, so He opened not His mouth.

And Yeshayahu boldly says, “I was found by those not seeking Me, I was made manifest to those not asking for Me.”

I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship.

But I have written more boldly to you, in part, as reminding you, because of the favour given to me by Elohim,

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

We are fools for the sake of Messiah, but you are wise in Messiah! We are weak, but you are strong! You are in esteem, but we are not appreciated!

What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of meekness?

Because they say, “His letters are truly weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech amounts to naught.”

But I pray, that when I am present, I might not be bold with that bravery by which I think to be bold against some who reckon us as if we walked according to the flesh.

Take a look at what you are facing. If anyone seems to trust in himself that he is of Messiah, let him reckon again for himself, that as he is of Messiah, so also are we.

To my shame, I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold – I say it in foolishness – I am bold also.

If I have to boast, I shall boast of matters that show up my weakness.

Of such a one I shall boast, but of myself I shall not boast, except in my weaknesses.

Having then such expectation, we use much boldness of speech,

Therefore we are envoys on behalf of Messiah, as though Elohim were pleading through us. We beg, on behalf of Messiah: Be restored to favour with Elohim.

And working together, we also call upon you not to receive the favour of Elohim in vain –

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting on your behalf. I have been filled with encouragement, I overflow with joy in all our pressure.

But you know that through weakness of the flesh I brought the Good News to you before.

See, I, Sha’ul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Messiah shall be of no use to you.

Because of this I, Sha’ul, am the prisoner of יהושע  Messiah on behalf of you gentiles –

I call upon you therefore, I the prisoner of the Master, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Master is near.

if indeed you continue in the belief, founded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the expectation of the Good News which you heard, which was proclaimed to every creature under the heaven, of which I, Sha’ul, became a servant,

The greeting of Sha’ul with my own hand, which is a sign in every letter, thus I write.

I, Sha’ul, wrote with my own hand. I shall repay – not to mention to you that you indeed owe yourself to me also.

because of love, I rather appeal – being such a one as Sha’ul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of יהושע  Messiah –

Beloved ones, I appeal to you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts which battle against the life,
