After these matters and this trustworthiness, Sanḥ
Pul the sovereign of Ashshur came against the land. And Menaḥ
In the ninth year of Hoshĕ
And the sovereign of Ashshur exiled Yisra’ĕ
“And now, O יהוה our Elohim, I pray, save us from his hand, so that all the reigns of the earth know that You are יהוה Elohim, You alone.”
And Ḥ
After all this, when Yoshiyahu had prepared the House, Neḵ
Yet he remains at Noḇ
And it came to be in the fourteenth year of Sovereign Ḥ
And Sanḥ
“No, let him return to the land of Mitsrayim, and let Ashshur be his sovereign, because they refused to repent!
“The breach-maker shall go up before them. They shall break out, and pass through the gate, and go out by it, and their sovereign pass before them, with יהוה at their head!”
