And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his father Dawiḏ

He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Yerushalayim. And his mother’s name was Aḇ

And יהוה was with Yehoshaphat, for he walked in the former ways of his father Dawiḏ

but sought the Elohim of his father, and walked in His commands and not according to the deeds of Yisra’ĕ

And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his father Amatsyahu did.
