And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, but not with a perfect heart.
However, the high places were not taken away. The people still slaughtered and burned incense on the high places.
And Yo’ash did what was right in the eyes of יהוה all the days of Yehoyaḏ
And it came to be, after Amatsyahu came from smiting the Eḏ
And it came to be, upon his strong control of the reign, that he slew his servants who had smitten his father the sovereign.
And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his father Amatsyahu did.
For their heart was not steadfast with Him, And they were not true to His covenant.
And יהוה says, “Because this people has drawn near with its mouth, and with its lips they have esteemed Me, and it has kept its heart far from Me, and their fear of Me has become a command of men that is taught!
Their heart has been slippery, now they are guilty. He breaks down their altars, He destroys their pillars.
“You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before Elohim.
he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Draw near to Elohim and He shall draw near to you. Cleanse hands, sinners. And cleanse the hearts, you double-minded!
