And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, like the house of Aḥ

He too walked in the ways of the house of Aḥ

My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in.

The thoughts of the righteous are right-ruling, The counsels of the wrong are deceit.

He who walks with the wise, shall be wise, But the companion of fools suffers evil.

Cease, my son, to hear discipline, And you shall stray from the words of knowledge.

“For the laws of Omri are strictly observed, and all the works of the house of Aḥ
