“For is not my house so with Ě
“Only, I shall not tear away all the reign but give one tribe to your son for the sake of my servant Dawiḏ
‘And to his son I give one tribe, so that My servant Dawiḏ
But for Dawiḏ
However, יהוה would not destroy Yehuḏ
So Yoram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of Dawiḏ
But Yehoshaḇ
And all the assembly made a covenant with the sovereign in the House of Elohim. And he said to them, “See, the son of the sovereign is to reign, as יהוה has said of the sons of Dawiḏ
“And now, יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕ
יהוה has sworn in truth to Dawiḏ
You have disowned the covenant of Your servant, You have defiled his diadem in the dust.
and has raised up a horn of deliverance for us in the house of His servant Dawiḏ
to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
