And Asa did what was good and what was right in the eyes of יהוה his Elohim,
But the high places were not removed. However, Asa’s heart was perfect with יהוה all his days.
And Asa did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, as his father Dawiḏ
in set-apartness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
And Ḥ
and put away the cult prostitutes from the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
So Aḇ
and removed the altars of the stranger, and the high places, and broke down the pillars and cut down the Ashĕ
And he also removed Maʽ
And a letter came to him from Ě
“Do not bow down to their mighty ones, nor serve them, nor do according to their works, but without fail overthrow them and without fail break down their pillars.
“And you shall break down their altars, and smash their pillars, and burn their Ashĕ
And his heart was exalted in the ways of יהוה, and he again removed the high places and the Ashĕ
And he walked in the way of his father Asa and did not turn aside from it, doing what was right in the eyes of יהוה.
And at the completion of all this, all Yisra’ĕ
And he broke down the altars and the Ashĕ
