And there was a scarcity of food in the land, besides the first scarcity of food which was in the days of Aḇ

And they departed, and the fear of Elohim was upon the cities that were all around them, and they did not pursue the sons of Yaʽ

For at that time they came to Dawiḏ

with twelve hundred chariots, and sixty thousand horsemen, and innumerable people who came with him out of Mitsrayim: the Luḇ

and smote all the cities around Gerar, for the fear of יהוה  came upon them. And they plundered all the cities, for there was exceedingly much spoil in them.

and offered to יהוה  on that day seven hundred bulls and seven thousand sheep from the spoil which they had brought.

And the fear of יהוה  fell on all the reigns of the lands that were around Yehuḏ

And the fear of Elohim was on all the reigns of the lands when they heard that יהוה  had fought against the enemies of Yisra’ĕ

That it would please Eloah to crush me, loose His hand and cut me off!

Wise in heart and mighty in strength – who has hardened himself against Him and is at peace?

Have You not rejected us, O Elohim? And You do not go out with our armies, O Elohim!

who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength,

And He said, “No, for I have now come as Captain of the host of יהוה.” And Yehoshua fell on his face to the earth and did obeisance, and said to Him, “What is my Master saying to His servant?”

“Please forgive the transgression of your female servant. For יהוה  is certainly making a steadfast house for my master, because my master fights the battles of יהוה, and evil is not found in you in all your days.
