and do not cut off your kindness from my house forever, no, not when יהוה has cut off every one of the enemies of Dawiḏ

But the sovereign spared Mephiḇ

“And now, swear to me by יהוה that you do not cut off my seed after me, nor destroy my name from my father’s house.”

“But show me the kindness of יהוה, not only while I still live, so that I do not die,

“And as for the word which you and I have spoken of, see, יהוה is between you and me forever.”

And Yehonathan said to Dawiḏ

“But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me. And mention me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house.
