And it came to be when all Yisra’ĕ
Then all the men of Yisra’ĕ
“Only, I shall not tear away all the reign but give one tribe to your son for the sake of my servant Dawiḏ
And a servant of Shelomoh, Yaroḇ
but he shall have one tribe for the sake of My servant Dawiḏ
‘And I shall take the reign out of his son’s hand and give it to you, the ten tribes.
‘And to his son I give one tribe, so that My servant Dawiḏ
‘So I take you, and you shall reign over all that your being desires, and you shall be sovereign over Yisra’ĕ
But as for the children of Yisra’ĕ
For He tore Yisra’ĕ
“Ephrayim has surrounded Me with lying, and the house of Yisra’ĕ
“They have made sovereigns, but not from Me. They have made rulers, but I have not known. From their silver and gold they made idols for themselves, so that they are cut off.
