Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim had gone up and taken Gezer and burned it with fire, and had slain the Kenaʽ
And some of the clans of the sons of Qehath had cities of their borders from the tribe of Ephrayim.
and Yoqmeʽ
the sovereign of Eglon, one; the sovereign of Gezer, one;
And they did not drive out the Kenaʽ
and went down westward to the boundary of the Yaphlĕ
So they set apart Qeḏ
And they gave them Sheḵ
