“And of all my sons – for יהוה  has given me many sons – He has chosen my son Shelomoh to sit on the throne of the reign of יהוה  over Yisra’ĕ

And Shelomoh sat on the throne of his father Dawiḏ

Let every being be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from Elohim, and the authorities that exist are appointed by Elohim.

יהוה  has sworn in truth to Dawiḏ

“Now, my son, יהוה  be with you, then you shall prosper and build the House of יהוה  your Elohim, as He has said to you.

“And further, Shelomoh sits on the throne of the reign.

And all the rulers and the mighty men, and also all the sons of Sovereign Dawiḏ

“Blessed be יהוה  your Elohim, who delighted in you, to put you on His throne to be sovereign for יהוה  your Elohim! Because your Elohim has loved Yisra’ĕ

And Yehoshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Mosheh had laid his hands on him. And the children of Yisra’ĕ

“Go immediately to Sovereign Dawiḏ

even as I swore to you by יהוה  Elohim of Yisra’ĕ

“And you shall come up after him, and he shall come and sit on my throne, and he shall reign in my place. For I have appointed him to be ruler over Yisra’ĕ

and took the commanders of hundreds, and the Karites, and the runners, and all the people of the land. And they brought the sovereign down from the House of יהוה, and went by way of the gate of the runners to the sovereign’s house. And he sat on the throne of the sovereigns.

And Shelomoh said to Elohim, “You have shown great kindness to Dawiḏ

And Shelomoh reigned in Yerushalayim over all Yisra’ĕ

And he took the commanders of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought the sovereign down from the House of יהוה. And they went through the Upper Gate to the sovereign’s house, and set the sovereign on the throne of the reign.
