The Passion Translation

He spoke to them from the pillar of clouds, and they followed his instructions, doing everything he told them.

For he was faithful to the Father who appointed him, in the same way that Moses was a model of faithfulness in what was entrusted to him.

If you close your heart and refuse to listen to God’s instruction, even your prayer will be despised.

By God’s direction, they spoke and released a plague of thick darkness over the land.
