There are so many reasons to describe God as wonderful! So many reasons to praise him with unlimited praise!

Lord, you are great and worthy of the highest praise! For there is no end to the discovery of the greatness that surrounds you.

How great is our God! There’s absolutely nothing his power cannot accomplish, and he has infinite understanding of everything.

“I myself have poured out my King on Zion, my holy mountain.”

Lord, I will exalt you and lift you high, for you have lifted me up on high! Over all my boasting, gloating enemies, you made me to triumph.

I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you!

God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you.

God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places.

Our God reigns over every nation. He reigns on his holy throne over all.

O God in Zion, to you even silence is praise! You who answers prayer, all of humanity comes before you with their requests.

He chose instead the tribe of Judah and Mount Zion, which he loves.

You are the one and only God. What miracles! What wonders! What greatness belongs to you!

High upon his hills of holiness stands God’s city.

So many glorious things have been proclaimed over Zion, God’s holy city! Pause in his presence

For the Lord’s greatness is beyond description, and he deserves all the praise that comes to him. He is our King-God, and it’s right to be in holy awe of him.

Keep exalting the Lord our God facedown before his glory-throne, for he is great and holy!

When that day comes, a great trumpet will sound, and those lost in the land of Assyria and Egypt—all the exiles—will come and bow down before the Lord Yahweh in Jerusalem and worship him on the holy mountain!

Yahweh, the God of Israel, Commander of Angel Armies, says, “This blessing will once again be heard throughout Judah and its towns when I bring their captives home: “ ‘May Yahweh bless the Holy Place where he lives, O holy mountain of Jerusalem!’

“When you witness what Daniel prophesied, ‘the disgusting destroyer,’ taking its stand in the Holy Place [let the reader learn],

By contrast, we have already come near to God in a totally different realm, the Zion-realm, for we have entered the city of the Living God, which is the New Jerusalem in heaven! We have joined the festal gathering of myriads of angels in their joyous celebration!

Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his loving servants and all who reverence and honor him— those who are lowly and those who are great!”

I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending out of the heavenly realm from the presence of God, like a pleasing bride that had been prepared for her husband, adorned for her wedding.
