Psalm 139:19

O God, come and slay these bloodthirsty, murderous men! For I cry out, “Depart from me, you wicked ones!”

Go away! Leave me, all you workers of wickedness, for you can’t stop me from following every command of my God.

You will make an end of all those who lie. How you hate their hypocrisy and despise all who love violence!

He will watch over his devoted lovers, never letting them slip or be overthrown. He will send all my enemies to the pit of destruction. Murderers, liars, and betrayers will face an untimely death. My life’s hope and trust is in you, and you’ll never fail to rescue me!

Turn from me, all you troublemakers! For Yahweh has turned to hear the sound of my weeping.

But all the while God has his own fire-tipped arrows! Suddenly, without warning, they will be pierced and struck down.

Don’t forget this: all the wicked will one day fall into the darkness of death’s domain, including the nations that forget God and reject his ways.

He will not forget the needs of the poor. One day the needy will be remembered, and their hopes will not be forever dashed in disappointment.

With righteousness he will uphold justice for the poor and defend the lowly of the earth. His words will be like a scepter of power that conquers the world, and with his breath he will slay the lawless one.

“Then to those on his left the King will say, ‘Leave me! For you are under the curse of eternal fire that has been destined for the devil and all his demons.

But I will have to say to them, ‘Go away from me, you lawless rebels! I’ve never been joined to you!’

For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you.
