A godly leader who values justice is a great strength and example to the people. But the one who sells his influence for money tears down what is right.

Your glorious throne rests on a foundation of righteousness and just verdicts. Grace and truth are the attendants who go before you.

A lover of justice is our mighty King; he is right in all his ways. He insists on being fair to all, promoting true justice and righteousness in Jacob.

A nation is exalted by the righteousness of its people, but sin heaps disgrace upon the land.

A king speaks the revelation of truth, so he must be extraordinarily careful in the decrees that he makes.

Kings and leaders despise wrongdoing, for the true authority to rule and reign is built on a foundation of righteousness.

A righteous king sits on his judgment seat. He scatters evil away from his kingdom by his wise discernment.

The best insurance for a leader’s longevity is to demonstrate justice for the poor.

I empower kings to reign and rulers to make laws that are just.

Yahweh says: “When the time of showing you favor has come, I will answer your heart’s cry. I will help you in the day of salvation, for I have fixed my eyes on you. I have made you a covenant people to restore the land and to resettle families on forgotten inheritances.

Great and vast is his dominion. He will bring immeasurable peace and prosperity. He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom to establish and uphold it by promoting justice and righteousness from this time forward and forevermore. The marvelous passion that the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, has for his people will ensure that it is finished!

His successor will send out a tax collector to maintain the wealth of his kingdom. In a short time, however, the king will die, though not in the heat of battle.”
