The lovers of God feed many with their teachings, but the foolish ones starve themselves for lack of an understanding heart.

When your heart overflows with understanding you’ll be very slow to get angry. But if you have a quick temper, your impatience will be quickly seen by all.

Brilliant ideas pay off and bring you prosperity, but making hasty, impatient decisions will only lead to financial loss.

Don’t be hasty to file a lawsuit. By starting something you wish you hadn’t, you could be humiliated when you lose your case.

Life’s blessings drench the honest and faithful person, but punishment rains down upon the greedy and dishonest.

A greedy man is in a race to get rich, but he forgets that he could lose what’s most important and end up with nothing.

There’s only one kind of person who is worse than a fool: the impetuous one who speaks without thinking first.

The trees are withered and stripped bare, and their women gather dead branches for firewood, because they are a people of no understanding. That is why their Maker will show them no compassion, and he who formed them will show them no favor.

Here’s what the Lord God says: “Behold, I set in place in Zion a Foundation Stone, fully tested and proven to be faithful and secure. And written upon this precious cornerstone is this: ‘Those who trust in him will not act in haste.’

And they will do these things because they don’t know anything about the Father or me.

For I know that although they are deeply devoted to God, they are unenlightened.
