The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm.

Pharaoh had him ride in the chariot reserved for the second-in-command and sent runners going before him, crying out, “Kneel!” In this way, Pharaoh placed Joseph over all the land of Egypt.

Come and kneel before this Creator-God; come and bow before the mighty God, our majestic maker!

For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge sea creature for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

And because of God’s unfailing purpose, this detailed plan will reign supreme through every period of time until the fulfillment of all the ages finally reaches its climax—when God makes all things new in all of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ.

So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,

He “ascended” means that he returned to heaven, after he had first descended from the heights of heaven, even to the lower regions, namely, the earth.

And again, when he brought his firstborn Son into the world: “Let all my angels bow down before him and kiss him in worship.”

And the sea gave up the dead souls that were in it. Then death and the underworld gave up their dead, and all were judged according to what they had done.

the twenty-four elders fell facedown before the one seated on the throne and they worshiped the one who lives forever and ever. And they surrendered their crowns before the throne, singing:

But no person could be found, living or dead, in all of creation —no one was worthy to open the scroll and read its contents.
