Fishermen will crowd its banks and spread their nets from En-Gedi to En-Eglaim. They will catch as many species of fish as there are in the Great Sea.

Now, these are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon, who is nicknamed Peter, and Andrew, his brother. And then Jacob and John, sons of Zebedee.

After leaving Lebanon, Jesus went to Lake Galilee and climbed a hill nearby and sat down.

I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this rock will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church—my legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it!

Later, Jesus appeared once again to a group of his disciples by Lake Galilee.

After this Jesus went to the other side of the Lake of Tiberias, which is also known as Lake Galilee.

But just then, Andrew, Peter’s brother, spoke up and said,
