God’s Spirit swept me off my feet and transported me to the eastern gate of the temple of Yahweh. And behold, there at the entrance to the gate facing east stood twenty-five men, including the two officials Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah.

Then, the Spirit snatched me away and transported me back among the exiles in Babylon. This was the vision given to me by the Spirit of God. Then the vision faded away.

Then the Spirit lifted me up, and behind me I heard a loud, thunderous voice: “Blessed be the glory of Yahweh in his sanctuary!”

The Spirit lifted me up and took me away. I went in the heat of my spirit, and the hand of Yahweh rested powerfully upon me.

In an ecstatic vision from God, he carried me away to the land of Israel and put me down on a very high mountain. As I looked toward the south, there was a group of buildings that seemed to be a city.

Then Yahweh’s Spirit lifted me into the air and set me down in the inner courtyard; and behold, I watched the glory of Yahweh like a cloud fill the temple.

He reached out with what seemed like a hand and grabbed me by my hair. Then, in a great and wonderful vision from God, the Spirit lifted me up high in the air and transported me to Jerusalem. He took me to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court where the disgusting idol that provokes Yahweh’s jealousy was standing.

I won’t speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this dark world is coming. But he has no power over me, for he has nothing to use against me.

When they came up out of the water, Philip was suddenly snatched up by the Spirit of the Lord and instantly carried away to the city of Ashdod, where he reappeared, preaching the gospel in that city. The man never saw Philip again. He returned to Ethiopia full of great joy. Philip, however, traveled on to all of the towns of that region, bringing them the good news, until he arrived at Caesarea.

The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.

He suffered and endured every test and temptation, so that he can help us every time we pass through the ordeals of life.

Instead it is each person’s own desires and thoughts that drag them into evil and lure them away into darkness.
