The Passion Translation

Jesus’ mother and his brothers came to where Jesus was teaching, but they couldn’t get through the crowd that had gathered around him.

When his own family heard that he was there, they went out to seize him, for they said, “He’s insane!”

Someone told Jesus, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak with you.”
