O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God!

For troublemakers are restless if they are not involved in evil. They are not satisfied until they have brought someone harm.

The burning sand will become a refreshing oasis, the parched ground bubbling springs, and the dragon’s lair a meadow with grass, reeds, and papyrus.

I will pour refreshing water on the thirsty and streams on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your children, my blessing upon your descendants.

“There is never peace,” Yahweh says, “for the wicked.”

He begged Jesus repeatedly not to expel them out of the region.

Now when Jesus saw that the crowd was quickly growing larger, he commanded the demon, saying, “Deaf and mute spirit, I command you to come out of him and never enter him again!”

When it returns, it finds the person like a house swept clean and made tidy, but empty.

It wasn’t that long ago that you lived in the religion, customs, and values of this world, obeying the dark ruler of the earthly realm who fills the atmosphere with his authority, and works diligently in the hearts of those who are disobedient to the truth of God.

Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour.
