He has become to me like a bear ready to pounce or a lion lying in wait.

I felt as though a lion were crushing all my bones as I cried out for help until morning. From day to night, you bring my life to an end.

They’re like lions eager to tear me apart, like young and fearless lions lurking in secret, so ferocious and cruel—ready to rip me to shreds.

He has made my paths a maze and obstructed my ways.

He dragged me away, tore me to pieces, and then left me stunned and helpless.
