Joshua 3:1

The Passion Translation

Joshua was up bright and early the next morning. They broke camp, and Joshua led the Israelites from Acacia to the eastern bank of the Jordan. There they set up camp and waited until they crossed over.

Abraham rose up early the next morning, bundled up some food and a skin of water, and strapped them to Hagar’s shoulders. Then he gave her his son and sent them away. So, Hagar and her son Ishmael departed and wandered off into the wilderness of Beersheba.

The next morning, Jesus got up long before daylight, left the house while it was dark, and made his way to a secluded place to give himself to prayer.

Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent out two spies from their camp at Acacia. He told them, “Go and explore the land of Canaan, especially Jericho.” They went and arrived at Jericho and entered the house of Rahab the prostitute and lodged there.

Joshua rose bright and early the next morning, and the priests took up the ark of Yahweh.

On the seventh day, everyone rose at daybreak, and they marched around the city in the same manner seven times.

Joshua was up at the crack of dawn and had Israel come forward by tribes, and Yahweh indicated the tribe of Judah.

So early the next morning, Joshua mustered his troops. He and the leaders of Israel went in front of the army and led them toward Ai.

The Israelites got up the next morning and encamped near Gibeah.
