The Passion Translation

It then descended westward to the territory of the Japhletites as far as the border of Lower Beth Horon and Gezer, ending at the Mediterranean Sea.

The border then went to the slope on the south side of Luz (that is, Bethel) then down to Ataroth Addar on the mountain south of Lower Beth Horon.

Meanwhile, Horam, king of Gezer, had marched out to help Lachish, but Joshua defeated him and his army, leaving no survivors.
